The Polar Bear Express, carrying 73 passengers has derailed just south of Moosonee on May 30.
Minor injuries have been reported.
Ontario Northland spokesperson Rebecca McGlynn said the train was carrying 73 passengers and seven crew members when it left the tracks about 37 kilometres south of Moosonee on its way back to Cochrane around 5:45 p.m.
Northland is currently investigating the cause of the derailment and the damage done to the train and tracks.
