Cat Lake First Nation is in shock after a double homicide was committed in the community on the evening of Wednesday December 6.
Chief and Council have confirmed the deaths of two community citizens.
No names have been released as of yet.
The OPP are currently in the community undergoing an investigation, and will be releasing an official statement later today (December 7).
Cat Lake has a population of about 650 people and is located north of Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
