Couchiching First Nation tollbooth on Hwy 11
Couchiching First Nation put up a tollbooth on Highway 11 May 21. The fee for crossing the highway through Couchiching is $1 each way. The First Nation is looking for compensation for contaminated soil in the community, which is forcing band members to relocate their housing. |
